Unlike other popular language programs advertised on television, SPANISH for Latter Day Saints is more than a generic, self-study program. Let's face it - if you want to be able to SPEAK Spanish, you need to practice what you're learning with other human beings.

SPANISH for Latter Day Saints helps you with the three most critical STEPS of learning a second language:

STEP 1: Self Study - By listening to native speakers on the Audio CD and by following along with the Lesson Manual, you'll quickly become familiar with the words and sounds of the Spanish language. You will also learn basic phrases that are necessary for handling the most common situations encountered when meeting Spanish speakers.

STEP 2: Group Practice - In addition to self-study materials, you'll also receive group materials that can be used to practice with your friends and family members in small groups called "Language Huddles." The DVD included in the program will help you practice in a "virtual Huddle" until you can participate in a Live Huddle near you.

STEP 3: Real Life Application - The final step in learning a language is to apply what you have learned in the real world.
